AV Ssystem supply + install for 18 PlaySmart Centres located within OLG land-based gaming sites.
Project Scope

Design Coordination & Site Integration
Provided full coordination support during design review and site integration phases across 18 OLG PlaySmart Centre locations. Supplied detailed AV drawings, ensured alignment with electrical and data layouts, and coordinated with client stakeholders on power and data provisions.

Display Installation & Mounting
Installed two 24″ wall-mounted displays in each Quiet Area using swing-arm brackets for service access. Displays were mounted high on the wall above seating to ensure clear sightlines and protection from damage.
Installed one 50″ wall-mounted display with internal speakers inside each PlaySmart Centre, mounted on a swing-arm bracket for optimal accessibility and alignment.

Interactive Display System
Installed one interactive display in portrait orientation on a swing-arm bracket within each PlaySmart Centre. Integrated ceiling-mounted IR motion sensors above both the interactive display and slot machine area, establishing defined motion capture zones to trigger audio playback.

Audio System Integration
Mounted a compact speaker above the interactive display and one above the slot machine at each site. Programmed the AV control system to automatically play predefined sound clips when motion is detected within the active zones.

Equipment Rack & Control System
Installed a 27RU floor-standing AV rack within the designated storage space at each site. Populated and labeled all rack components, including signal distribution, control, and power management devices. Mounted a control touchscreen on the face of the rack for local system operation.

Structured Cabling & System Configuration
Provided and terminated all required fiber and copper structured cabling to support the AV systems. Verified signal integrity, cable labeling, and routing in accordance with standards. Completed system programming, testing, and commissioning to deliver a fully functional turnkey solution.

Documentation & Close-Out
Delivered complete as-built documentation, configuration files, and final test results. Coordinated with OLG representatives for final acceptance and hand-off of all 18 PlaySmart Centre systems.
