LaunchPad Golf is a Canadian-first golf entertainment venue combining tech-driven hitting bays, social spaces, and dining.
Two Calgary locations—Mickelson (20 bays) and Heritage Pointe (40 bays with restaurant & bar), feature immersive AV systems designed and installed by Ramcom Communications as a complete turn-key solution utilizing SAVI as the intuitive control backbone.
Project Scope
Ramcom provided end-to-end AV support:
- Design collaboration and integration.
- Coordination of all provisions and infrastructure.
- Site meetings and structural planning.
- Installation, Racks, Commissioning, and close-out.
AV Strategy Solutions
Integrated Audio & Video across lounges, bays, and dining areas using Savi with LG WebOS to deliver on point visual experiences.
AV extends to bars, lounges, and event spaces for music, sports, and ambient effects.
By leveraging System on Chip (SoC) technology powered by Savi, we’ve created an intuitive experience that allows users to seamlessly route any video or audio signal throughout the venue. Savi enables multi-canvas functionality on the LG WebOS platform, allowing diverse content—such as advertisements, satellite TV, and custom media—to be displayed simultaneously on a single panel.

Ramcom Custom manufactured the hitting bay portrait enclosures. Utilizing our experience in custom manufacturing we ensured the traditional panels will run beyond their lifespan by protecting them from the elements and at the same tim knocking the direct ambient light down ensuring patrons can easily enjoy all aspects the LP experience has to offer in the bays.
Large LED SIGNS – The LP team did not disappoint adding 2 massive 12x7ft LED signs allowing them to deliver more line of sights for sporting events, buy-outs, Adds and Marketing.
Utilizing Savi at Heritage both 1st and 2nd floor bars have 98” screens that can be split into 4 individual screens. In the bays are 55” portrait screens split into 3 allowing Sat TV, Content/Marketing & a duplicate image of the In-range system allowing everyone to see what’s going on. Additionally, there are multiple monitors strategically placed ensuring everyone has a view of the big game!
The client wanted to have deep ambient balanced audio flow through the buildings with the option to ramp up to party mode simply. Utilizing QSC DSP and Sonance speakers this was easily achieved again tying into the Savi solution control of this is at the end users’ fingertips.
Close-out
Launchpad’s AV systems are central to its brand and growth, offering a model for tech-driven sports entertainment venues. Ramcom is very exited to support Launchpad and bring all their future AV & Lighting expectations to life!
Future Sites will have Savi lighting features tied in providing a complete immersive experience as simple as lighting celebrations to a birthday parties or corporate colour matching.
